A Seminar on "Economic Burden Generated by Bangladesh Power Sector: A Policy Advocacy for Crisis Management" organized by Mechanical Engineering Division, IEB will be held on 17 May 2026, Sunday at 5:00 pm at IEB Council Hall (1st Floor), Shaheed Prokaushali Bhaban, IEB Headquarters, Ramna, Dhaka-1000.
Mr. Aninda Islam Amit, MP, Honorable State Minister, Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh has given his kind consent to be present as the chief guest.
Engr. Mohammad Reazul Islam Rezu, President, IEB and Chairman, RAJUK will be present as the special guest.
Prof. Dr. Engr. M. Rezwan Khan, Professor Emeritus, United International University (UIU) and Former Chairman, Power Grid Bangladesh PLC will be the Keynote Speaker.
Prof. Dr. Engr. Mohammad Ali, Chairman, Mechanical Engineering Division, IEB will preside over the seminar.
